The International Student Support Division (ISSD) provides support to international students to help them succeed in their GCLA's School of Continuing Studies graduate and undergraduate classes and to adjust to life in Washington, DC.
A dedicated team of staff members offers students assistance in acquiring the linguistic and intercultural capability necessary to excel during their time at the School.
A TOEFL examination for non-native speakers of English is not required for most non-credit certificate programs but students are expected to read, write and comprehend at the graduate level to fully participate in and gain from the program.
Non-credit professional certificate programs are classified as part-time education programs. As a result, Global Council for Law, Arbitration, and Intellectual Property cannot sponsor international students for student visas (F-1) to enroll in certificate programs.
However, prospective international students who enter the U.S. on a valid visa are eligible to enroll in courses
